Digital Branch Score FAQs
What is the Digital Branch Score?
A free score out of 100 that measures how well your credit union's online presence is set up to attract and convert members. It looks at six areas: website performance, accessibility, search visibility, branch listings, reviews, and social and content.
How is the score calculated?
Each area is scored from a set of automated checks on your public website and online presence, such as mobile load time, accessibility issues, search rankings, listing accuracy and review activity. The overall score is the average of the six areas.
Do you need access to our website or analytics?
No. The score only uses publicly available information. Nothing is installed and you don't need to log in to anything.
Is it really free?
Yes. You'll see your score and area breakdown without giving us an email. If you want the measured values and recommended fixes for every check, we ask for your contact details so we can send you the full report.
How is this different from the SmartSource Assessment?
The score is an automated snapshot. The SmartSource Assessment goes deeper: a strategist reviews your digital branch, benchmarks you against competitors and gives you a prioritized 90-day roadmap. It's also free, and the score is a good place to start.
